Carbon Fiber (CF) Reinforced Filament

Carbon fiber-reinforced 3D printing filaments are composite materials compounded with short chopped carbon fibers in a polymer matrix base, such as PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon, PP, etc. The carbon fibers reduce shrinkage and warpage during cooling, and greatly improves the strength and stiffness of the final 3D printed part. Currently, Raise3D has launched Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Filament for the Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Filament series. There will be more carbon fiber-reinforced filaments coming soon.

  • High strength-to-weight ratio
  • High stiffness
  • High dimensional stability
  • Lower shrinkage and warpage
  • Electrostatic discharge (ESD) property

Compatibility: Raise3D Support Filaments

Please note, carbon fiber-reinforced filament is abrasive and can wear out brass nozzle quickly. It is recommended to print carbon fiber filament with hardened nozzle.

Applications

  • Aerospace
  • Industrial and engineering tooling
  • Automobile parts
  • End-use parts
